For over 30 years, Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thomson has worked hard to create a distinctive environment. Our firm offers the sophisticated practice of a larger firm, with the informal atmosphere and minimal bureaucracy of a smaller practice. But what really sets us apart is our passion for what we do, how we do it, and with whom we do it. It’s what has brought us all together and what sets us apart from the rest.
This commitment to culture is built on, and continues to succeed because of, the talent of our lawyers and staff. So when we hire, we intend to hire for the long term. That’s why we invest heavily in supervising and training our junior associates, giving them frequent direct client contact on even the most complex cases and transactions. From day one, we help our associates learn to tackle legal challenges and be directly involved as associates with providing effective solutions for our clients.
At Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thomson you’ll be recognized and rewarded for everything you accomplish. We typically offer a starting annual base salary of $135,000 for first-year associates, along with the potential to earn discretionary annual performance and merit bonuses. Our hourly billing expectation is 1,800. Our benefits package includes health, dental and disability insurance, and a 401(k) retirement plan with a partial match program. We also reimburse or pay for various professional fees, memberships and continuing education courses.
Fabyanske, Westra, Hart & Thomson is seeking a highly motivated associate with 1-2 years of experience in construction litigation and excellent academic credentials for a position in its Construction Law Department.
