  • Defended sitting district attorney in a civil RICO matter; achieved dismissal of the lawsuit on summary judgment and affirmance by the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.  Farmer v. D&O Contractors, Inc., 640 Fed. Appx. 302 (5th Cir. 2016)
  • Defended historic New Orleans restaurant in an action seeking to reverse its sale; achieved dismissal of the lawsuit and affirmance by the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Bourbon Investments, LLC v. New Orleans Equity, LLC, 2015-1234 (La. App. 4 Cir. 12/21/16), 207 So.3d 1088
  • Preserved several attorney fee and cost awards on appeal in expropriation cases.  See, e.g., Board of Sup’rs of La. State University v. Boudreaux’s Tire & Auto Repair, L.L.C., 2013-0444 (La.
